Yet the industry that fabricates them is fragmented, manual, and losing its workforce. A single system can touch five vendors before it ships. Quotes take weeks. Field measurements are taken by hand, redrawn, and reworked when they don’t fit.
One process
A rocket fuel line, a ship’s seawater main, a reactor loop, and a data center cooling header are treated as four different industries. They are one process: measure, bend, weld, inspect, clean.
Autofac is one facility that runs that process end to end, with a digital thread from the on-site 3D scan to the install-ready assembly.
